Japanese scale

The scale is written in alto. Soprano is one octave higher. Mezzo soprano is a half octave higher. Tenor is a half octave lower. Bass is one full octave lower.

The distinctive tones of the Japanese scale are both deeply soothing and provocative.

If mixing chimes in this line the artist who created it suggests blending the serious Japanese with the more light hearted Chinese and Balinese.
