The annual Earth day evergreen tree seedling program.

Every year since 1991 we have sponsored a tree seedling giveaway program in memory of Bob Funke (1930-1991).

The tree seedlings are available to the public during the week of Earth day, April 22nd.

Thousands of new evergreen trees are growing in Cincinnati now as a result of this program working year round filtering harmful pollutaants from the air we breath.

In 2001 Hamilton County environmental services joined our effort in promoting the tree seedling give away by offering seedlings to educators who in turn teach our youngsters about the stewardship of mother earth.

Here's a couple of pictures of the event from 2001 and 2002 :)
